The Los Angeles Clippers have been playing so proficiently that they have expressed dissatisfaction after victories this season.Theyre really going to be in a foul mood after letting one slip away.Los Angeles (10-2) brings the NBAs best record to Sacramento on Friday night, and they will have had 48 hours to stew before they take the floor at Golden 1 Center. The Clippers saw the end to a seven-game winning streak in a 111-107 overtime loss at home to the Memphis Grizzlies. Los Angeles fought back from a 15-point halftime deficit, but guard J.J. Reddicks 3-pointer with the Clippers down two and four seconds left was knocked away from behind. It was Los Angeles first loss since Nov. 2 at Oklahoma City. Its a learning point. Its a lesson, Clippers forward Blake Griffin said after the game. Putting ourselves in such a big hole makes late game (situations) so intense for every little thing. It messes you up. I think its good. We love to win them all, but it will be good for us.The early going has been as good to the Clippers as anyone, and theyve been spurred by defense. Per NBA.com, the Clippers allow 94.6 points per 100 possessions, the best mark in the league. Theyve held nine of their 12 opponents below 100 points, and the 111 scored by the Grizzlies marked a season high by an opponent. They also have outscored opponents by 208 points in their first 12 games, an average of 17.3 per contest. They average 108.7 points per game, with Griffin leading them at 20.6 and Chris Paul adding 18.3. Paul, who is fourth in the NBA with 8.3 assists per game, leads the assists-to-turnover ratio at 4.76.Despite all of it, Rivers expressed disappointment Tuesday that both the Clippers losses have come at home and that his team was sloppy at times. We made mistakes, he said. All of them are fixable mistakes. The Kings keep hoping they have time to fix a rough roller coaster of an early season. Sacramento (4-8) has dropped three straight contests, including two in a row at their new home. The skid started when they let a 19-point lead get away against the Lakers at home on Nov. 10. They slumbered out of the game in their next two, the latest a 110-105 loss on Wednesday to San Antonio in which they fell behind 16-6 early in the first quarter.Weve got to get off to better starts, Joerger said of a team that also fell behind 25-13 in an overtime loss at Portland on Nov. 11. I thought that was just horrendous. The Kings seemed disinterested early against San Antonio, allowing 16 points in the paint and turning over the ball four times in the opening 12 minutes. The starters have to do a better job, Kings center DeMarcus Cousins said. We set the tone.Cousins is averaging 26.6 points per contest and Rudy Gay 21.3 for the Kings, but Sacramento has struggled to find a consistent third scorer. Theyve also struggled to defend the 3-pointer, allowing opponents to shoot 35 percent. The Clippers knock down 37 percent from distance, the third-best mark in the NBA, and Reddick is 10th among individuals with a 47 percent success rate.Rodrigo Caio Jersey . That left plenty of energy for pitching books and swatting away free agency questions. Anthony had 24 points and nine rebounds, and the Knicks avenged an embarrassing home loss with a rout of their own, beating the Boston Celtics 114-88 on Wednesday night for their third straight victory.Peter Wright and Gary Anderson have the chance to play twice this week - but is Wayne Mardle expecting them to take advantage? As Premier League Darts heads to Birmingham on Thursday, live on Sky Sports 1 HD at 7pm, our expert Mardle has concerns for fan favourite Snakebite.Heres Waynes picks for Thursdays arrows... Sky Live: PL Darts All the info you need... Peter Wright v Phil TaylorPeter is in a situation where he needs to win all his remaining games and hope other results give him a lift.I love that Peter entertains, I love that his action is superb, but he has got to stop changing his darts. Its becoming farcical. Phil Taylor beat Robert Thornton 7-2 last week Whenever he plays badly, we blame the darts. There will come a point where he plays himself out of form because of the constant changing.Prediction: I think Phil will win this. Hes winning when he plays well and hes winning when he doesnt play well - and thats a nice trait. (Sky Bet Odds: Taylor 1/2 to win)Raymond van Barneveld v Gary Anderson One of the best checkouts of Barneys season I expected Barney to lose to Adrian Lewis last week but Lewis just didnt play well. We know what Barney can do, hes a champion, but Gary is playing better than him. I thought Gary was excellent last week and the week before.Rotterdam is the week after next, and Barney will want to perform on what will be the biggest stage for him.Prediction: I think Gary wins this because Im not convinced Barney can keep fighting for no reason, its just not his way. Anderson will win 7-4. (Sky Bet Odds: Anderson 6/1 to win 7-4)Adrian Lewis v Robert Thornton Watch Adrian Lewis hit a nine darter You could have excused Thornton, after he didnt get eliminated, of just going through the motions.dddddddddddd. He could have just turned up, but no, hes had none of that. Hes tried his heart out. But last week he was really poor. Hes really inconsistent, which is unusual for him. This is a game that Lewis knows he must win.Prediction: Lewis will win it, but it wont be easy pickings. I think it could be a last-leg thriller! (Sky Bet Odds: Lewis 7/1 to win 7-5)James Wade v Michael van Gerwen Michael van Gerwen was on Soccer AM at the weekend If you offered Wade 6-6 he would not turn up.James must replicate what he did in the first week with a win over Michael - hes still the only person to beat him this year. If he can, it bodes well for him to qualify. It could get messy for that fourth spot. A loss for Wade doesnt necessarily end his hopes - if everyone loses, a draw somewhere down the line could be enough. The race for fourth wont be sorted out this week.Prediction: I think Wade loses. I think Van Gerwen just has too much for Wade. (Sky Bet Odds: MVG 2/7 to win)Peter Wright v Gary Anderson Gary Anderson will need better counting to beat Peter Wright... Wright has a terrible record against Anderson. I really do feel that Gary likes to play Wright because he plays well against him a lot.Weve said this when Barney plays Van Gerwen, and when Lewis plays Barney - you get players that you just like to play against. And I dont think Wright is a lover of playing Anderson.Anderson feels like hes got Wrights number, and I also think he has.Prediction: A dismal night for Wright. (Sky Bet Odds: Anderson 8/13 to win)Watch Premier League Darts on Thursday, live on Sky Sports 1 HD at 7pm, or watch for £6.99 without a contract, on NOW TV.Also See:Fixtures/ResultsOn Sky TVPrem TableDarts bettingGet Sky Sports ' ' '
